Lubrication methods can be broadly divided into volumetric and resistance types. Since the pumps and distribution valves differ based on each system, please make the correct choice according to the characteristics of the machinery you wish to apply it to for proper lubrication management.
Volumetric Lubrication System
The volumetric system utilizes volumetric pumps (AMGP-01NS, 01AF-T03-T, 01N, 02N, 03, 05 Series) and volumetric distribution valves (ARD-340, 350, PVO Series) in combination. This system measures and consistently supplies a fixed amount of lubricant.
The discharge quantity of the volumetric distribution valve is determined by the Adjust Nipple, and the larger the number engraved on the Adjust Nipple, the greater the discharge flow rate.
The volumetric distribution valve is combined with a pump that has a built-in venting valve to intermittently supply a fixed amount of lubricant to the lubrication points.
The principle of the volumetric lubrication method is that when the pump operates, it discharges a secured amount of lubricant. When the pump stops, the venting valve operates to relieve the pressure in the piping. Once the pressure in the piping decreases, it prepares for the next discharge, securing a fixed amount of lubricant again. When the pump operates again, the discharge occurs.
To use it in combination with a volumetric distribution valve, the pump must have a venting valve attached, and the pump must operate intermittently.
If the pump operates continuously, the pressure in the pipes will not be relieved, preventing the volumetric distribution valve from performing the next operation.
To operate the pump intermittently, use a type that has a built-in controller in the pump itself or connect it to a controller of the machine.

Resistance Lubrication system
The resistance system includes proportional pumps (AMGP-01A, 01M Series) and continuous lubrication pumps (AMLA Series). In this system, the lubricant supplied by the pump generates resistance through the adjustment valves of each distribution valve (VB, DB) or flow units (ASA, AJB), allowing the lubricant to be supplied proportionally or adjusted based on the strength or weakness of the resistance.
The flow rate at each outlet is determined by the discharge volume of the pump, and this flow is supplied to each lubrication point through the distribution valves. The flow units (classification numbers 00 to 4) consist of AJB Type, which combines with the distribution valve, and ASA Type, which is attached to the lubrication points. As the engraved code number increases, the flow rate is designed to increase by approximately twofold.
