Code of Ethics

Aryung Machinery Co., Ltd., committed to becoming a world-class value-creating enterprise,
and a company loved by the community. To establish desirable behaviors and standards of value
judgment that each employee must uphold, we hereby declare the following code of ethics.

  • Aryung Machniery IND. Co., Ltd. and its employees strive to do their best for customer satisfaction and secure customer trust through the quality of products and services.
  • Aryung Machniery IND. Co., Ltd. and its employees handle their work based on integrity and sincerity, comply with laws and regulations, and respect business customs and order.
  • Aryung Machniery IND. Co., Ltd. and its employees handle their work based on integrity and sincerity, comply with laws and regulations, and respect business customs and order.
  • Aryung Machniery IND. Co., Ltd. provides equal opportunities to all employees and treats them fairly and equally based on their abilities and achievements.
  • Employees maintain the honor of the company and their personal dignity, conducting themselves in a manner that earns respect and trust from customers and business partners.
  • Employees shall not demand or receive any form of monetary or non-monetary benefits from stakeholders in relation to their work.
  • Employees do not use the company’s assets for personal gain and prioritize the company's interests when there is a conflict with personal interests while performing their duties.
  • Employees strive to align themselves with the company's ideal of talent through continuous self-development.
  • In order to implement the above code of ethics, separate ethical rules will be established and announced for enforcement. January 1, 2012.

Ethical Rules

Chapter 1: Fair Competition and Equal Treatment

  • Employees must engage in fair and honest competition with legitimate skills both inside and outside the company, and, unless there is a justifiable reason, they must treat all business partners equally.
  • Employees shall provide fair opportunities to companies or individuals that have a business relationship with the company or wish to establish one;
  • however, the quality and service levels in the business relationship must meet the company's reasonable requirements.
  • Employees must report to their superiors in advance regarding any companies with which they have personal interests, and they must not exert undue influence during transactions.
  • Employees must not provide unreasonable discriminatory treatment to other employees based on gender, education, religion, physical disabilities, or any other reasons.

Chapter 2: Gifts, Entertainment, and Monetary Transactions

  • Employees must not receive gifts, monetary benefits, or excessive entertainment from business partners.
  • Employees must not provide excessive support or gifts to one another, and regardless of the reason, they are prohibited from engaging in gambling activities both inside and outside the company.
  • Employees are prohibited from engaging in excessive monetary transactions or loan guarantees with each other. However, in unavoidable cases, written approval from the responsible executive must be obtained.

Chapter 3: Responsibilities and Compensation of Employees

  • Employees must strive to maximize corporate value by performing their duties to the best of their abilities, and the company will provide appropriate compensation based on their capabilities and achievements.
  • The company actively encourages employees' self-development activities, contributing to the growth of both the company and its employees.
  • Company assets must not be used for personal gain.
  • Important assets of the company, such as various know-how, must not be leaked to external parties without the company's approval, and all employees must do their utmost to protect this information.
  • Employees must not use illegal software.

Chapter 4: Gifts, Entertainment, and Monetary Transactions

  • All employees of Aryung machinery IND. Co., Ltd. must comply with this code of ethics and ethical rules, and violations will be subject to severe disciplinary action.
  • This code of ethics and ethical rules will take effect on January 1, 2012.
